Cycling Without Borders. Creating Space for Women on Bicycles

Cycling is becoming increasingly accessible to women, and it’s more important than ever to create an environment where everyone can find their place. The new women-focused platform was launched to inspire, support, and develop women’s cycling in all its forms.

At the initiative’s launch, the founders discussed their main goal: to make more women feel confident in the world of cycling. After all, a bicycle is not only a means of transportation or a tool for achieving sports goals. It is freedom, the pleasure of movement, the opportunity to overcome oneself, and the opportunity to open new horizons.

Support at All Levels

This project brings together women who are passionate about cycling, regardless of their level of training and preferences. Everyone will find support and motivation here.

The platform offers several key areas of focus:

  • A community of like-minded women where you can exchange experiences, share your achievements, and get advice.
  • Trips and events, including large-scale races, where you can test yourself and make new friends.
  • An online space where everyone can ask questions, get advice, and find inspiration from other cyclists’ stories.

One of the most important aspects is creating a safe space for women to train and develop without fear of judgment or comparison to more experienced athletes. It’s an opportunity to learn in a comfortable environment, make mistakes, ask questions, and move forward at their own pace.

Why is it so Important to Develop Women’s Cycling?

It offers incredible opportunities, but it still remains undervalued. In many races, women receive less attention, less prize money, and face a lack of opportunities to grow professionally.

However, this is changing. More and more people in the industry support a level playing field. Professional racers are saying that women’s races should be on par with men’s and that participation in major events should be accessible to all.

One of the goals of this platform is to show the world how exciting, dynamic, and entertaining women’s cycling can be. Supporting women in sports is important not only at the professional level but also at the amateur level. If girls see that they can do cycling as confidently as men, they feel more confident in their choices.

Atmosphere and New Opportunities

Starting out is always a little scary. The first long ride, the first climb, the first group training session… Especially if there are experienced athletes around who have been in the field for a long time. Sometimes it can even discourage you from continuing.

That’s why creating a comfortable, friendly environment plays a huge role. Group trips, master classes, women’s training camps—all this allows girls to feel confident, not be afraid to ask questions and learn new skills surrounded by similarly enthusiastic people.

“When you’re just starting out, it seems like everyone around you knows how to do it right, and you’re the only one out of the loop. That can be intimidating. But when you are among people who are willing to help, support and share experience. Everything becomes much easier and more enjoyable.”

Cycling is about emotions, adrenaline, the joy of movement and a sense of unity. And the more women who get out on the roads, trails and routes, the stronger this community will be.
